Construction
* The telescopic stick exclusively designed consists of one non-sliding outer tube (1) and three sliding tubes, middle (2), inner (3) and guide (4). Sliding movements of this stick can be achieved by the combined operation of telescopic cylinder (5), sheaves (6), (7) and wire ropes (8) and (9), which are incorporated in tubes.* Telescopic cylinder (5) which is pin connected to outer tube (1) and guide tube (4) gives sliding movement to the telescopic stick.* Guide tube (4) which is pin connected to middle tube (2) transmits sliding movement mode by telescopic cylinder (5) to middle tube (2).* Middle tube (2) has two sheaves (6) and (7) on each end which guide wire ropes (8) and (9). Wire ropes (8) are fastened between the top of outer tube (1) and inner tube (3), and wire ropes (9) between the bottom of outer tube (1) and inner tube (3).Operation
The telescopic stick extends/retracts in the following manner.* When telescopic cylinder (5) extends by activation of the telescopic cylinder control pedal, guide tube (4) and middle tube (2) move out. Along with this movement, sheaves (6) and (7) move in the same direction and wire ropes (8) and (9) are pulled out. The stick is now extending.* Stick retraction is made in the reverse of described above.
