start by:a) remove hood If the bulldozer blade is installed on the machine, disconnect the bulldozer lift cylinders from the trunnion of the bulldozer blade. Make sure the rods of the bulldozer lift cylinders are retracted. If the bulldozer blade is installed on the machine, both door assemblies on the front of the radiator guard can not be opened after the radiator guard is tilted. Remove both door assemblies before the radiator guard is tilted. Weight of each door assembly is 203 lb. (91 kg).1. Remove the coolant from the engine radiator. Capacity is 55 U.S. gal. (208 liter). See the LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.2. Loosen the clamps that hold hose (2) in position. 3. Slide hose (2) off of elbow (1) and on elbow (3).4. Loosen the clamps that hold hose (5) in position. 5. Slide hose (5) off of elbow (4) and on tube (6). 6. Remove cover assembly (7).7. Remove cover assembly (8).
TYPICAL EXAMPLE8. Install tooling (A) in the radiator guard assembly. 9. Loosen bolts (9) that hold clamps (10) in place. Remove the clamps that hold hoses (11) for the air conditioner condenser in place (if so equipped).10. Install a hoist on tooling (A) and the bulldozer lift cylinder mounts. 11. Remove pins (12) and (14) from each side of the radiator guard assembly. 12. Use the hoist to tilt radiator guard assembly (13) forward. Weight is 8500 lb. (3825 kg). 13. Use pins (12) and (14) to install tool (B) to hold the radiator guard in position. 14. Make sure tooling (A) is installed in the radiator guard assembly.15. Install a hoist on tooling (A) and the bulldozer lift cylinder mounts. 16. Remove pins (12) and (14). Remove tool (B). 17. Use a hoist to move the radiator guard assembly (13) into position on the frame. 18. Install pins (12) and (14) on each side of the radiator guard assembly. 19. Install the clamps that hold hoses (11) for the air conditioner condenser in place (if so equipped). Tighten bolts (9) that hold clamps (10) in place. 20. Install cover assembly (7).21. Install cover assembly (8). 22. Slide hose (5) on elbow (4). Tighten the clamps to hold the hose in position. 23. Slide hose (2) on elbow (1). Tighten the clamps to hold the hose in position.24.
