Information:
START BY:a) remove axles 1. Put an acceptable jack (1) in position under the frame. Raise the machine off the ground. 2. Remove bolts and covers (2) and (3) from the tandem housing. 3. Turn the wheel spindle until the master link of the chain can be removed.4. Remove cotter pins (4) from the master link. 5. Install tooling (A) on the master link as shown. Remove the master link from chain. 6. Remove chain (5) from the tandem housing. The weight of the chain is 80 lb. (36 kg).Install Drive Chains
1. Put the drive chain (1) in position on the drive sprocket and the spindle sprocket with the link of the chain at the openings. 2. Install tool (A) on chain (1). Install master link (2) in chain. Install the master link so the end where the cotter pins are installed is toward the other chain. Make sure the master links of the two chains are not side by side on the same tooth of the drive sprockets or they can hit each other. 3. Remove tool (A). Install link (3) on master link with tooling (B). 4. Remove tool (B) and install cotter pins (4) in the master link. 5. Install covers (5) on the tandem housing.6. Lower the machine to the ground and remove jack.END BY:a) install axles
