If new bracket has been previously installed please file only 0.5 Hrs for inspection.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Step 1. Inspect and verify if new bracket (313-6897) has been previously installed. Image 1.1.1 shows old bracket (297-8181) that needs replaced. If the new bracket has been installed rework is not needed. File appropriate claim.

Step 2. If new bracket needs to be installed, remove the ECM. This must be done to gain access to the fuel manifold bracket. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Guide RENR9706 for this procedure.
Step 3. Remove original Bracket.

Step 3. Install new bracket. Trimming of the sound panel may be required to allow clearance for the new bracket.
1)Spacers are not to be reused. Mount ladder clips to outer surface of hex on stud bolt (use 3/8" washers on inside and outside of ladder clip).
Flip stud bolts so long end goes through bracket and into block
2)On the bottom side, if this hole is threaded, an additional 288-8580 line clip will be needed. On the original bracket, the line clip is welded to the bottom side of the bracket. With the cast bracket, a machined pad and a threaded hole are provided but the clip is now a loose, additional piece.
3)Replace with 0S-1571 (or Grade 8, 1.75" x 3/8NC).
Note: Tighten all 3/8" fastners to a torque of 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
Step 4. Reinstall ECM. Refer to RENR9706 for this procedure.
