Rework Procedure
The following instructions provide the necessary steps to rework the power supply circuit for the right steering cylinder position sensor from 8 Volt to 10 Volt power supply. This will address the 2201-4 and 41-4 "Voltage Below Normal" fault codes.
Rework Instructions:
Note: 555-0489 jumper harness consist of two harness sections. JC_B6 (TAPEFABRIC-BK) is the harness section for the cab and JC_B4 (BRAID-YL) is the harness section for the chassis.

Rework Instructions - Operator Cabin refer to Image1.2.1 and Image1.2.2:
Note: Jumper harness 555-0489 section JC_B6 to be installed in cab.
1. Remove Panel behind the Operator Seat (Inside Cabin)
2. Unplug Seal-Cap from P-C67 (8-pin) connector or Unplug YY-C1 (8-pin) connector from auxiliary control harness if machine is equipped with "Auxiliary Joystick" option.
3. Insert JC-C1 Receptacle (8-pin) from new Jumper harness 555-0489 in to P-C67 (8-pin) connector of main cab harness.
4. If equipped with "Auxiliary Joystick" opti on, insert JC-C2 Plug (8-pin) from new Jumper harness 555-0489 in to YY-C1 or Secure JC-C2 Plug (8-pin) connector with seal cap removed in step 2.
5. Route jumper harness along main cab harness in floor of cab to front console.

6. Remove Cluster Gauge/Dash Panel and Locate P-C50 (70-pin Cab/Front Frame
interface) connector of main cab harness to chassis.
7. Remove Plug-seals from position #64 and #65 from P-C50 (70-pin) connector.
8. Insert the wires with PIN end from jumper harness 555-0489 into P-C50 (70-pin) connector (Image1.3.2):
709-OR Power wire to position #64 from position #1 of JC-C1/JC-C2 connector
A295-BK Return wire to position #65 from position #2 of JC-C1/JC-C2 connector
9. Secure jumper harness 555-0489 to main cab harness with cable ties.

Rework Instructions - Front Frame/Chassis:
Note: The JC_B4 portion of jumper harness 555-0489 is used to complete the chassis rework.
1. Locate U-C1 (70-pin Front Frame/Cab interface) connector from Front
Frame harness and remove plug-seals from position #64 and #65.
2. Insert the wires with SOCKET into U-C1 (70-pin) connector (Image1.3.2):
709-OR Power wire to position #64
A295-BK Return wire to position #65
3. Route chassis jumper harness with main chassis harness to front steering connector U-C38 Receptacle (4-pin).
4. Secure jumper harness to front chassis harness with cable ties.

5. Unplug U-C38 connector from UC-C1 (4-pin Right steering interface) connector.
6. Remove R800-OR and P967-PU wires from U-C38 connector and insert into new 2-pin Receptacle connector or insulate each wire separately with adhesive tape.
7. Insert the PIN end of jumper harness into U-C38 (4-pin) connector (Image 1.5.2):
709-OR Power wire to position #1 in place of R800-OR wire
A295-BK Return wire to position #2 in place of P967-PU wire
