6V-7070 Digital Multimeter 1

Disconnect electrical connector (1) for outside solenoid (3).
Use a 6V-7070 Digital Multimeter to measure the resistance of the solenoid. The resistance should be 6.6 1.0 ohms. If the solenoid does not meet the specification, replace the solenoid. Refer to Service Manual, "Diverter Valve - Disassemble" for the removal of the solenoid and refer to Service Manual, "Diverter Valve - Assemble" for the installation of the solenoid.
Connect the electrical connector.
Disconnect electrical connector (2) for inside solenoid (4).
Use the 6V-7070 Digital Multimeter to measure the resistance of the solenoid. The resistance should be 6.6 1.0 ohms. If the solenoid does not meet the specification, replace the solenoid. Refer to Service Manual, "Diverter Valve - Disassemble" for the removal of the solenoid and refer to Service Manual, "Diverter Valve - Assemble" for the installation of the solenoid.
Connect the electrical connector.
