PROBLEM
The existing cab may leak, during raining or when the machine is washed, due to improper fit of cab door seals on certain 777D Off-Highway Trucks.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Adjust RH / LH Door to obtain a Gap of 5mm between Door and CAB at Top / Bottom Portion with the help of Feeler Gauge, from Inner side of the cab. (Refer-A)
2. Take a Seal (6V1391) and cut to the dimension - 4 Nos, as shown in the Images (Refer-B).
3. Position the seal at Top and Bottom side of the Doors Hinge on both doors.(Refer-C)
4. In RH door, 6V1392 Seal needs to be pasted on both doors and cab side, which is currently practiced in LH door. (Refer-D)
5. Cut the 6V1392 Seal to the Dimension, as shown in the image. (Refer-E)
6. Paste the cut 6V1392 Seal in corners of both top and bottom side of the Hinge (RH & LH) and apply Sealant Loctite 5900 over the same.
7. Flat seal highlighted should be pasted uniform and straight in both the Doors and Cab Assy.(Refer-F)
8. Adjust Striker (RH & LH), to move doors further inside to maintain even gap all over the Door Periphery.(Refer-G) Ensure proper locking of Doors (RH/LH).
9. Apply sealant Loctite 5900 between hinges and seals on top and bottom of door assembly. (Refer-H)
Note: 1. Refer the Images (TOP & BOTTOM) for Sealant application fashion.
2. Do not apply sealant at Bottom side of the Hinge.
