Personal injury or death can result from improper lifting or blocking.When a hoist or jack is used to lift any part or component, stand clear of the area. Be sure the hoist or jack has the correct capacity to lift a component. Install blocks or stands before performance of any work under a heavy component.Approximate weights of the components are shown. Clean all surfaces where parts are to be installed.
Position the track roller on tool (E). Fasten a hoist to tool (E) .
In order to install only the rear track roller, install tool (D) on the inside of the track. The base of the hydraulic jack should be in contact with the final drive case. Move down the track with tool (D) so that the track roller can be installed. Tool (D) is not needed for the installation of any other track roller on the track roller frame.

Fill the hydraulic track adjuster with grease until the track roller makes contact with the track roller frame. The mounting holes in the track roller should line up with the bolt holes in the track roller frame.
Do not tighten the track too tight. Damage to the seals in the track adjusting mechanism will be the result.

Install four bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 300 25 N m (225 20 lb ft).

Put tool (A) in front of the tracks.
Start the machine. Move the machine slowly up on tool (A) .
Remove tool (B) from the main frame of the machine.
Put tool (A) in position behind the tracks.
Move the machine slowly to the rear and up on tool (A) .
Remove tool (C) from the bevel gear case.
Move the machine to the rear a little farther until tool (A) is able to be removed at the front of the tracks.
Move the machine slowly forward until tool (A) is able to be removed at the rear of the machine.
Adjust the tracks. Refer to Specifications, "Tracks".
