Personal injury or death could result when towing a disabled machine incorrectly.Block the machine to prevent movement before releasing the brakes. The machine can roll free if it is not blocked.
In order to properly perform the towing procedure, use the following recommendations.This machine is equipped with spring applied parking brakes. The parking brakes are released by oil pressure. If the engine is inoperable or if the brake oil system is inoperable, the parking brakes are applied. The machine cannot be moved.Use these towing instructions for moving a disabled machine over a short distance. Do not move the machine faster than 2 km/h (1.2 mph). Move the machine to a convenient location for repair. Use these instructions for emergency situations only. Always haul the machine if long distance moving is required.Shielding must be provided on the towing machine in order to protect the operator in case the tow line breaks or the tow bar breaks.Do not allow riders on the machine which is being towed.Before you tow the machine, inspect the condition of the tow line or of the tow bar.
