Removal Procedure
Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal until the coolant is below the level of the water temperature regulator housing. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".

Disconnect bracket (1).
Remove bolts (2) and bolts (3). Remove water temperature regulator housing (4).

Remove O-ring seals (5) and water temperature regulators (6) from water temperature regulator housing (4).
If necessary, remove the lip seals. Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
If necessary, use Tooling (A) to install the lip seals.

Install water temperature regulators (6) and O-ring seals (5) in water temperature regulator housing (4).

Position water temperature regulator housing (4) on the engine. Install bolts (3) and bolts (2).
Connect bracket (1).
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
