Autoshift control circuit (wheel steering)The components of the wheel steering autoshift control circuit are the wheel steering autoshift control switch, the Power Train Electronic Control Module (Power Train ECM), and the wheel steering transmission control.

Operator station (under seat) (4) Power Train ECMWith the key start switch in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker 14 to Power Train ECM (4) .

(5) Transmission control (wheel steering)Power Train ECM (4) receives a ground signal from wheel steering transmission control (5) indicating the gear and the direction selected.When wheel steering autoshift control switch (1) is moved to MANUAL position (2) a ground signal is supplied to Power Train ECM (4) . Power Train ECM (4) monitors the signal from wheel steering transmission control (5) and determines the gear that is selected by the operator.When wheel steering autoshift control switch (1) is in AUTOMATIC position (3) a ground signal is supplied to Power Train ECM (4) . When the signal is received by Power Train ECM (4) , Power Train ECM (4) will control the upshift and downshift of gears automatically.The position of wheel steering transmission control (5) indicates the highest gear which will be selected by Power Train ECM (4) in automatic mode.
