Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Loosen hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (5).
Disconnect hose (1) and hose (6) form check valve (4).
Remove bolts (3) form check valve (4). Note: Removal of the bolts may allow separation of the check valve components.
Remove check valve (4) from bracket (7).

If necessary, follow Step 2.b through Step 5.c in order to disassemble check valve (4).
Remove top cover (8) from bottom cover (10) for the assembly of check valve (4).
Make temporary mark on the assembly of reed valve (9).
Remove the assembly of the reed valve from bottom cover (10). Installation Procedure
Ensure that all components of the check valve are free from wear or damage. Replace any components that are worn or damaged.

If necessary, follow Step 2.a through Step 2.b in order to assemble of check valve (4).
Install the assembly of reed valve (9) to bottom cover (10). Ensure that the assembly of reed valve is correctly orientated.
Install top cover (8) onto bottom cover (10). Ensure that the top cover and the bottom cover are correctly seated.

Position check valve (4) onto bracket (7). Note: The check valve is not secured together.
Install bolts (3) to check valve (4). Tighten the bolts hand tight. Ensure that the check valve assembly is correctly installed.
Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 5 N m (44 lb in).
Connect hose (1) and hose (6) to check valve (4).
Securely tighten hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (5).
