Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the secondary steering valve.Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove the following items from secondary steering valve (1) : plugs (5), O-ring seals (4), springs (3) and valves (2) .

Mark the location of switch assemblies (6) and (7) for assembly purposes.
Remove switch assemblies (6) and (7) from secondary steering valve (1) .
Remove O-ring seals (8) from the switch assemblies.
If necessary, remove the remaining fittings in order to replace the O-ring seals.
