5. Remove bolts (6) and (7).
633D ONLY6. Pull transmission control (9) out and put it on the floor of the cab as shown. Step (7) is for a 633D Tractor only.7. Put identification on air lines (8). Disconnect the air lines from the air valve for the variable capacity torque converter.8. Remove the transmission control and cable from the cab.Install Transmission Control
633D ONLY1. Put transmission control (1) in the cab and put the cable through the opening in the cab and back to the transmission. Step 2 is for a 633D Tractor only.2. Connect air lines (2) to the air valve in their original position. 3. Put the transmission control in position and install the bolts that hold it in place. 4. Connect oil lines (3) and (4) to the parking brake control valve in their original position. 5. Install cable (4) in the housing on the transmission and install the washer and nut (5) to hold it in place.6. Install rod end (6) on the cable.7. With both the transmission control and lever (7) in the 8th speed position, adjust rod end (6) until the hole in the rod end is in alignment with the hole in lever (7).8. Install the bolt in lever (7). Tighten the locknut to hold the rod end in place.9. Install the gasket and cover on the housing.end by:a) install seat and seat suspensionDisassemble Transmission Control
start by:a) remove transmission control 1. Remove cover (1) and (2) and the gaskets. 2. Loosen the locknut and remove the cable from rod end (3).3. Remove housing (4), the cable and the gasket from the transmission control housing. 4. Remove bolts (6) and the two bolts that hold parking brake control valve (5) in place. Remove the parking brake control valve and linkage as a unit. 5. Remove the cotter pin and pin (7). Remove the parking brake valve from the linkage. 6. Remove knob (8) and the lockwasher from the valve spool of the parking brake valve.7. Remove ring (9) from the valve spool. 8. Remove valve spool (10) and the two washers and two seals from the parking brake valve. 9. Remove bolt (11) from the lever. Remove lever (12) and the key from the shaft. 10. Remove shaft (13) and the lever from bracket (14). 11. Use tooling (A) as shown to remove the bearings from the bracket. 12. Remove knob (15) from the rod.13. Remove bolts (17) from levers (16) and (18).14. Remove lever (16) from the shaft. 15. Remove key (19) from the shaft.16. Remove the key for lever (18) from the shaft.17. Remove shaft (20), lever (18) and the washer from the housing. 18. Remove springs (21) from the lever and toggle. 19. Loosen locknut (24). Loosen rod (23) approximately .37 in. (9.4 mm). Use a hammer and soft punch to remove pin (22). 20. Use tooling (A) to remove bearings (25) from the lever.
