Rear of the Machine (1) Vibratory and charge manifold (2) Material feed cold-start solenoid (3) Vibratory solenoidVibratory and charge manifold (1) is located at the rear of the machine, below the battery tray. The operator station deck plates provide access to this component.Vibratory and charge manifold (1) controls the speed of the vibratory motors. The charge pump provides supply oil to the vibratory manifold to drive the vibratory system. This manifold contains a proportional valve which controls hydraulic oil flow to the vibratory motors. Motor speed is controlled by the position of this valve.Vibratory solenoid (3) is installed in vibratory and charge manifold (1). The vibratory solenoid controls the position of the vibratory proportional valve. Material feed cold-start solenoid (2) is also located on vibratory and charge manifold (1). The material feed cold-start solenoid unloads the material feed charge circuit only during the cranking of the engine. When oil temperature is below 10 °C (50 °F), material feed cold-start solenoid (2) bypasses pump flow. This feature reduces the hydraulic load when the engine is being started. The solenoid is energized until engine speed is greater than 900 rpm for 5 seconds.
