Vehicle Controls
Engine Governor Control (1) Move the lever all the way forward to stop the engine.Move the lever forward to decrease the engine speed.Move the lever to the rear to increase the engine speed.Forward travel refers to travel toward the idlers. Reverse travel refers to travel toward the sprockets. The right and left sides of the machine are determined with the cab over the idler end of the machine. Reverse Travel Pedal (2) For reverse travel, push down the left hand pedal. Forward Travel Pedal (3) For forward travel, push down the right hand pedal.The farther the travel pedals are pushed down, the faster the travel speed.The brakes are applied automatically when the travel pedals are released. Reverse Left Track (1) Move the lever to the far left to reverse the travel direction of the left track. This permits a spot turn. Pivot Left Track (2) Move the lever part way to the left to disengage and brake the left track. This permits a pivot left turn. Straight Travel (3) Center the lever to permit straight forward or straight reverse travel. Pivot Right Track (4) Move the lever part way to the right to disengage and brake the right track. This permits a pivot right turn. Reverse Right Track (5) Move the lever to the far right to reverse the travel direction of the right track. Backhoe Stick and Swing Control
Stick Out (1) To move the stick out, push the lever forward. Stick Out and Swing Right To move the stick out and swing the upper structure to the right at the same time, push the lever forward and to the right. Swing Right (3) To swing the upper structure to the right, push the lever to the right. Stick In and Swing Right To move the stick in and swing the upper structure to the right, pull the lever to the rear and to the right. Stick In (5) To move the stick in, pull the lever to the rear. Stick In and Swing Left (6) To move the stick in and swing the upper structure to the left, pull the lever to the rear and to the left. Swing Left (7) To swing the upper structure to the left, move the lever to the left. Stick Out and Swing Left To move the stick out and swing the upper structure to the left, push the lever forward and to the left.The lever will return to the centered (HOLD) position when released.The use of other hydraulic functions will not slow swing speed.Backhoe Bucket and Boom Control
