(2) Torque for nut ... 45 7 N m (33.2 5 lb.ft.)(3) Torque for nut ... 25 7 N m (18 5 lb.ft.)(7) Torque for nut ... 12 4 N m (8.9 3 lb.ft.)(10) Bearings (two places). When replacement is necessary, use a driver only on the end that is stamped.Adjustment Procedure
1. Turn adjustment screw (1) counterclockwise until the screw is even (flush) with the bottom of the pedal.2. Adjust setscrew (4) until Dimension A equals 160 5 mm (6.30 .20 in.). Lock setscrew (4) with locknut (3).3. Install a S1618 bolt (8) through lever (9) into tapped hole in valve housing. This will center the valve spool in the maximum speed position.4. Adjust rod (5) until Dimension B equals 40 3 mm (1.57 .12 in.).5. Adjust end (6) on rod (5) until the pin will fit freely through end (6) and lever (9). Tighten locknut (7).6. Remove the S1618 bolt (8) from valve spool lever (9).7. Push down on the pedal until lever (9) makes contact with the stop on the brake valve housing.8. Hold the pedal in this position and turn adjustment screw (1) clockwise until it makes contact with the pedal support housing.9. Turn the adjustment screw 1/4 additional turn and lock in place with locknut (2).
