Information:

Synchronized System Clock
This feature provides a synchronized clock between all of the electronic control modules. The time is sent across the Cat Data Link. The system clock maintains the service hour meter readings between all of the electronic control modules. The system clock also defines the standard accumulation for time of service.System Voltage Monitoring
This feature allows the ECM to monitor the health of the electrical system of the machine. The system voltage status will be set to "OK" when the following are true:
There are no active Low System Voltage events
There are no active High System Voltage eventsThe system voltage status will be set to "LOW" when the following is true:
There are any active Low System Voltage eventsThe system voltage status will be set to HIGH when the following is true:
There are any active High System Voltage events5 VDC Supply Voltage
This feature allows the ECM to determine the level of voltage to deliver to the 5 VDC supply output. The ECM uses this feature to monitor the 5 volt supply for the following faults:
short to battery of the 5 volt power supply
short to ground of the 5 volt power supply8 VDC Supply Voltage
This feature allows the ECM to determine the level of voltage to deliver to the 8 VDC supply output. The ECM uses this feature to monitor the 8 volt supply for the following faults:
short to battery of the 8 volt power supply
short to ground of the 5 volt power supplyBackup Alarm Control
The ECM will turn on the backup alarm when the control for the machine movement is placed in the reverse position.Park Brake Control
The ECM will disengage the parking brake if the following condition is true:
The parking brake switch is set in the OFF position.Differential Lock Control
This feature allows the differential lock function to be electrically controlled by the operator from the cab. A momentary switch located inside the cab controls the lock. Press the switch in order to engage the lock. The differential lock will remain engaged only while the switch is pressed. An indicator on the monitoring system will illuminate in order to alert the operator of the status of the differential lock.Service Brake Status
This feature alerts the ECM when the service brake is engaged. The engine ECM requests from the chassis control ECM that the throttle lock be disengaged. When the service brake pressure switch is open, the indicator on the monitoring system will illuminate in order to alert the operator of the status of the service brake.Steering Disable
This feature allows the Chassis ECM to disable the primary steering system if the following parameters are met:
The operator is not detected in the seat
The machine is not moving
The shift lever is in the NEUTRAL positionThe indicator for the primary steering disable will illuminate on the monitoring system in order to alert the operator that the system has been disabled. The indicator will turn off once the steering disable solenoid is de-energized.Ejector Kickout
The Chassis ECM disables the ejector return when the ejector kickout is activated. Kickout
