Secondary Steering
Note: The secondary steering system is an option. If the alert indicator for the primary steering comes on, steer the machine immediately to a safe location and stop the machine.Make any necessary repairs before you return the machine to operation. The effort that is needed for steering and for braking will increase when the engine is stopped.

Once the secondary steering system has been activated, it should remain ON no more than two minutes. This should be sufficient time to safely steer the machine to a stop. When the machine is stopped, turn the key start switch to the OFF position in order to turn OFF secondary steering. Prolonged use of the secondary steering system will cause the electric motor to overheat and cause damage to it's components.
The alert indicator for the primary steering system (4) indicates that the primary steering has failed. Also, this alert indicator allows you to know that the secondary steering is active. When the primary steering system fails, move the machine to a safe location. Stop the engine and investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine until all necessary repairs have been made. All Wheel Drive Operation
Note: The all wheel drive system will not operate unless the engine is running and the transmission modulator control is disengaged. Note: The all wheel drive system will operate when the transmission is in the first speed forward through the seventh speed forward, or when the transmission is in the first speed reverse through the fifth speed reverse.
Do not keep your foot on the transmission modulator control when operating the machine. This practice may prevent the all wheel drive system from engaging.
Note: The automatic mode is the recommended mode for the operation of the all wheel drive system. Note: Refer to the" All Wheel Drive Switch" topic in Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls" for more information about the all wheel drive system.Note: Refer to the "Torque Control" topic in Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls" for more information about the operation of the torque control.Automatic
