A 4C-6366 Valve Guide Driver 1 Start By:
Remove the inlet and exhaust valves. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Inlet and Exhaust Valves - Remove and Install".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Use Tooling (A) to remove valve guides (1) from the cylinder head assembly.Installation Procedure

Apply clean engine oil to both the outside and the inside diameter of the valve guide. Position the valve guides into the cylinder head. Tap on the top of the valve guides. This action is done to start the inlet valve guides and exhaust valve guides into the cylinder head assembly.
Use Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) to install the valve guides. Position a straight edge across the valve cover base sealing surface. Take a measurement from the top of the valve guide to the bottom of the straight edge. The measurement will be called Distance (C). Distance (C) should be 48.9 0.5 mm (1.93 0.02 inch).End By:
Install the inlet and exhaust valves. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Inlet and Exhaust Valves - Remove and Install".
