(A) 7S-8554 O-Ring SealOil may bypass the 7S-8554 O-Ring Seal (A) internally allowing hydraulic oil to overfill the sump on the clutch side of the winch and leak from the breather. The oil leak can cause excessive cable pull off force when in free spool mode and failure of the winch.Solution

(B) Winch group serial number locationIn the event of failure, reseal with the new 449-0110 Seal Kit.If you have a winch that is leaking from the breather and has not been repaired, contact WSK Product Service Engineer Allen Barrow at the below mentioned address. When reporting winch group failures, include the winch group serial number which is on the winch frame as shown in Illustration 2.Allen Barrow
