Removal Procedure
Start By:
Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Hot oil and hot components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or hot components to contact skin. At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure.Steam can cause personal injury.Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the cooling system pressure cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.Remove the cooling system pressure cap slowly to relieve pressure.Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or for disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (DEAC) - Change" or Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Extended Life Coolant - Change" for the proper procedure.

Open grill assembly (2). Repeat this step for the other side of the machine.
Remove shield assemblies (1).

Remove elbow (3). Disconnect hoses (5). Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect elbow (6). Remove cover assembly (4) and the O-ring seal.

Remove water pump (7) and the O-ring seal. Installation Procedure
Install water pump (7) in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
Tighten the hose clamps for elbow (6) to a torque of 7.5 1.0 N m (66.38 8.85 lb in).
