Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the crankshaft vibration damper and pulley. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Vibration Damper and Pulley - Remove and Install".
Remove the rear hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".

Fasten a suitable lifting device to engine (1). Apply lifting tension to the front of the engine. The weight of the front of the engine is approximately 1360 kg (3000 lb).

Remove bolts (4) (not shown).
Remove bolts (2) and engine front support (3). Installation Procedure

Position engine front support (3). Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) in sequence. Refer to Illustration 4.
Install bolts (4) (not shown).

Remove the suitable lifting device from engine (1). End By:
Install the crankshaft vibration damper and pulley. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Vibration Damper and Pulley - Remove and Install".
Install the rear hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
