CONVERSION AR-MACHINE 3938825 - Caterpillar

1. Lift the truck body until FT1452 Body Support (1) can be installed around the rod of the hoist cylinder.2. Fasten two brackets (2) on the body support as shown.3. Lower the truck body until the hoist cylinder head makes contact with the body support. Put the weight of the truck body on the body support. 4. Remove the cotter pin and pin (4) to disconnect rod (3). This will prevent an operator from trying to lower the body while the body support is holding the body in an up position. The following steps are for the removal of the FT1452 Body Support.5. Put rod (3) in position on the lever, and install pin (4) and the cotter pin to hold it.6. Lift the truck body until the weight is off the body support.7. Remove two brackets (2) and FT1452 Body Support (1) from the hoist cylinder.8. Lower the truck body to the frame.
