Information:

To check if grease is reaching the bushes, use the following procedure:
1. Check for adequate overhead clearance, start the engine and fully raise the dump body. Stop the engine.2. Install the steering frame lock links.3. Wipe all fittings clean before lubricating.4. Grease front and rear oscillating hitch pivot bushes (3) through the fittings on the side of rear frame assembly (B). Lubricate until the grease starts to push past seals (2). Middle fitting does not require regular lubrication. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual.5. Start the engine, lower the dump body, stop the engine and remove the steering frame lock links.6. If grease is visible at seals (2), there is no problem. Grease holes (1) are in alignment with the grooves in pivot bushes (3).7. If grease is not visible at seals (2) and the effort required to pump grease did not increase, check for damaged grease lines. Perform Steps 7 through 14 only if grease is not visible.8. If grease is not visible at seals (2) and the effort required to pump in grease increases, grease holes (1) are not in alignment with the grooves in pivot bushes (3). The grease holes in the rear frame assembly need modification.9. Remove the six wheel drive transfer drive if machine is equipped. Separate the tractor from the trailer.10. Remove pivot bushes (3) from the rear frame assembly.11. Remove material from grease holes (1) as shown in the illustration. The material can be removed with a grinding or burring tool. Protect the threads in grease holes (1).12. Clean thoroughly. Remove all chips, burrs and debris from grease holes (1) and bore.13. Replace pivot bushes (3), assemble trailer to the tractor and install the six wheel drive transfer drive if machine is equipped.14. Follow Steps 1 through 4 to grease pivot bushes. Lubricate completely to expel any contaminated grease.
