Hydraulic accumulator contains gas and oil under high pressure. Improper removal or repair procedures could cause severe injury. To remove or repair, instructions in the service manual must be followed. Special equipment is required for testing and charging.
For information on servicing the suspension cylinders, refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR8270.Body Up Pin (9)This safety message is located on the rear of the dump body near the points that are used to retain the body in the UP position.

A raised body (bed) may fall unexpectedly and without warning resulting in personal injury or death.When it is necessary to work under the truck with the body (bed) raised, install the body (bed) retaining pins through the pin bores in the frame and the retaining brackets on the body.
For information on the installation and removal of the body retaining pins, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Body Retaining Pin".Hot Coolant Under Pressure (10)This safety message is located on the radiator cap.

Explosion Hazard (11)This safety message is located on the battery access cover for the right side and this message is located in the battery compartment on the left side.

This machine is equipped with a Caterpillar Product Link communication device. When electric detonators are used, this communication device should be deactivated within 12 m (40 ft) of a blast site for satellite-based systems and within 3 m (10 ft) of a blast site for cellular based systems, or within the distance mandated under applicable legal requirements. Failure to do so could cause interference with blasting operations and result in serious injury or death.In cases where the type of Product Link module cannot be identified, Caterpillar recommends that the device be disabled no less than 12 m (40 ft) from the blast perimeter.
Gas Under Pressure (13)This safety message is located on the brake accumulators. The brake accumulators are located behind the cab.
