Steering components (1) Pilot valve shaft. (2) Pilot valve. (3) Top yoke. (4) Steering column yoke. (5) Nut. (6) Steering wheel. (7) Steering shaft. (8) Keyway and key. (9) Shaft. (10) Steering stop bracket. (11) Bottom yoke. (12) Lever. (13) Bolt. (14) Forward set screw. (15) Rearward set screw. (16) Steering column shaft. (A) 6 1 mm (0.24 0.04 inch) dimension.

Steering frame lock is in the LOCKED position.
Stop the engine. Engage the parking brake. Move the steering frame lock to the LOCKED position.
Unbolt and disconnect steering shaft (7) from lever (12).
Unbolt and remove lever (12) from the shaft (9).
The keyway and the key (8) should be facing straight ahead. Install steering wheel (6) on the steering column shaft. The steering wheel must be installed in the straight ahead position. Install nut (5) that mounts the steering wheel. Torque the nut (5) to 50 4 N m (37 3 lb ft). The steering wheel, the keyway, and the key should be installed in the straight ahead position.
Install lever (12) onto shaft (9). Slide lever (12) over key (8) onto shaft (9) until shaft (9) extends 6 1 mm (0.24 0.04 inch) dimension (A) beyond the bottom of the lever (12). Bolt the lever (12) to shaft (9) with bolt (13).
Reconnect steering shaft (7) so that the end of shaft (9) extends through the pilot hole of top yoke (3) .Note: The steering wheel should be in the straight ahead position.
Bolt top yoke (3) to lever (12). Ensure that yoke (4) and shaft (9) are centered in the straight ahead position.
