MACHINE SERIAL NUMBERS 24W1355-UP and 66W662-UP LOW AIR PRESSURE LIGHT should come on and electric horn should sound when air pressure is below 60 psi (415 kPa). To test LOW AIR PRESSURE LIGHT and horn when air pressure is above 60 psi (415 kPa), apply and release service brakes to decrease air pressure in the reservoirs. LOW COOLANT FLOW LIGHT and PARKING BRAKE SET LIGHT should go on.With sufficient air pressure, air horn should sound in conjunction with LOW COOLANT FLOW. MACHINE SERIAL NUMBERS 24W1-24W1354 AND 66W1-66W661 LOW COOLANT FLOW LIGHT and ... ... PARKING BRAKE SET LIGHT should go on.
Correct any malfunction before operating machine.
6. Depress accelerator to just past STOPPED detent. 7. Push in and turn heat start switch to START. Release switch when engine starts.
If engine oil pressure does not register when engine starts, stop engine and have corrections made.
If engine did not start, turn heat start switch to heat for 30 seconds, then to start.Below 60°F (16°C)
1. Follow steps 1 through 6 under Above 60°F (16°C). 2. Push in and turn heat start switch to HEAT for time indicated on starting aid chart. 3. Push in and turn heat start switch to START. Release switch when engine starts. 4. It may be necessary to return heat start switch to HEAT until engine runs smoothly. If engine did not start in 10 seconds turn heat start switch to HEAT for 30 seconds then to start.
If engine does not start after two attempts, the use of starting fluid should be considered to prevent battery drain and overheating of starting motor.
When Starting Fluid is Required
