There have been some complaints of the rubber chunking off of the 60 degree chevron 1R-1184 Drive Wheel Assembly (RH) and 1R-1185 Drive Wheel Assembly (LH) on Tillage Agricultural Tractors. The improved clearance drive wheels 1R-1253 Drive Wheel Assembly (RH) and 1R-1254 Drive Wheel Assembly (LH) designed for machines with outboard brakes, are designed with the same rubber compound and have seen the same rubber chunking off condition. Although it is not normal and unattractive for the drive wheels to lose this rubber, it has not been determined to affect the performance of the driver. We are investigating the reason for this condition occurring and currently do not have a solution at this time. However, ensure the tractor is properly balanced.
