--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------Description of Change: All of the above machines equipped with the 3204 Engine have had a V-Belt part number change. Adaptable To: If the machine is equipped with a 3204 Engine and a 7N-5141 Fan Drive Group, the 8N-2818 V-Belt previously used has been canceled and replaced by an 8M-8336 V-Belt. Please make note of this in your parts books and service manuals.
The New Product Release will guide you to purchase an 8N-9004 Alternator Support Bracket Assembly if purchasing an 8M-8336 Fan Belt in place of the cancelled 8N-2818 Fan Belt. The 8N-9004 Alternator Support Bracket Assembly is a Parts Service bracket which is heavier than the 8N-2821 Bracket Assembly. This 8N-2821 Bracket Assembly was used on the early D3B, D4B, 931B and 935B models. The new bracket assembly may be purchased to replace the 8N-2821 Bracket Assembly used on earlier machines if desired.
The 8M-8336 Fan Belt will fit with the machine previously equipped with an 8N-2820, the Parts Service 8N-9003 of the later 1W-4267 Alternator Support Castings.
This change is effective with D3B (23Y1765, 24Y1706, 28Y1342, 5MC1, 27Y2612, 3YC1), D3C (3RF1, 4HJ1, 6PF1, 8BF1, 5KJ1, 1PJ1, 7JG1, 8DG1, 9AG1, 5CJ1, 5ZG1), D4B (2XF1, 1SG1), D4C (2CJ1, 1RJ1, 9BG1, 7KG1) Track-Type Tractors; IT12 (2YC1, 4NC1) Integrated Tool Carriers; G910 (3SD1, 8GD1), 910 (40Y6012, 41Y2373) Wheel Loaders; 931B (25Y1829, 26Y491, 29Y1593, 30Y432, 4SC1, 6EC1), 931C (5LG1, 6RF1, 8AF1, 7HF1, 2BJ1, 6AJ1, 2AK1), 935B (3DF1), 935C (8CF1) Track-Type Loaders.
