To obtain the most accurate nitrogen charge, the temperature of the accumulator must be identical to the air temperature around the accumulator. The specification is with an air temperature of 21 °C (70 °F). Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Accumulator - Test and Charge" for additional charging pressure and temperature relationships.
