Marine EnginesDescription of Change: Two new air cleaner groups and a new air cleaner adapter group are used on 3412 Marine Engines. The new air cleaner groups use panel-type filters like the former groups, but the filter panels are larger: 609.6 x 609.6 mm (24 x 24") in comparison with the former 381 x 381 mm (15 x 15") panels. The larger filter panels, with the new larger air cleaner inlet adapter group, will permit a better flow of air, with less restriction, to the engine air inlet. Formerly, it was possible to have more than the desired amount of restriction to the flow of engine inlet air.Adaptable As: Direct replacement when the necessary parts are used together. The new groups can be installed on all 3412 Marine Engines 60Ml-Up.
