COOLER & MTG GP-HYDRAULIC OIL 3534725 - Caterpillar

1. Remove channel (3) and governor control cylinder as a unit from the aftercooler covers.2. Disconnect bar (2) from the aftercooler cover.3. Remove tube assembly (4) from the turbochargers.4. Remove elbow (1) from the turbocharger and the aftercooler cover.5. Remove the clamps that hold the tube assemblies and the hose to the aftercooler cover. 6. Install a 3/4"-10 NC forged eyebolt in the aftercooler cover. Remove the bolts that hold aftercooler cover (5) in position. Use a hoist to remove it. Weight is 50 lb. (22.7 kg). 7. Remove elbow (7).8. Remove elbow (8). Remove sleeve assembly (not shown) from aftercooler core (6).9. Use a hoist to remove aftercooler core (6). Weight is 70 lb. (32 kg).Install Aftercooler Core
1. Use a hoist to put aftercooler core (2) in position in the housing.2. Install aftercooler cover (1) on the housing. 3. Install sleeve assembly (3) in the aftercooler core.4. Install elbow (4). 5. Install elbow (5). 6. Install elbow (7) on the turbocharger and the aftercooler cover.7. Install tube assembly (6) between the elbows. 8. Connect bar (8) to the aftercooler cover.9. Install channel (9) and governor control cylinder. Connect the clamps to the aftercooler cover that hold the tube assemblies and the hose.
