And Install Marine Gear Oil Cooler Core (Marine Engine)
1. Drain the coolant from the engine.2. Disconnect the oil inlet and outlet lines. 3. Remove eight bolts (1) and cover (2) from the housing, and remove the two O-ring seals from the cover. 4. Remove core assembly (3) and gasket (4) from the housing. The following steps are for installation of the marine gear oil cooler core.5. Put gasket (4) and core assembly (3) in position in the housing.6. Install the two O-ring seals in cover (2). Put cover (2) in position on the housing, and install bolts (1).7. Connect the oil inlet and outlet lines.8. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. See the Maintenance Guide.Remove And Install Marine Gear Oil Cooler (Marine Engine)
1. Drain the coolant from the engine.2. Disconnect the oil inlet and outlet lines. 3. Disconnect tube (1) from the turbocharger and marine gear oil cooler, and remove the tube. 4. Remove the bolts that hold clip (4) to the oil cooler, and remove the clip.5. Remove four bolts (2), and remove marine gear oil cooler (3).6. Remove the gasket and O-ring seal from oil cooler (3). The following steps are for installation of the marine gear oil cooler.7. Put the gasket and O-ring seal in place on the marine gear oil cooler. Put clean engine oil on the O-ring seal.8. Put marine gear oil cooler (3) in position on the engine, and install bolts (2).9. Put clip (4) in position on the oil cooler, and install the two bolts that hold it.10. Install tube (1) between the turbocharger and the marine gear oil cooler.11. Connect the oil inlet and outlet lines.12. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level.
