Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location that is away from operating machines and away from personnel.
Place the transmission direction in the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake. Place wheel blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Lower the bucket or the work tool to the ground.
Stop the engine.

Install the steering frame lock.

Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all other personnel away from the machine or in sight of the operator.

Gain access to the quick coupler valve group (1) located at the upper left side of the articulated hitch. Install tooling (A) on the test connection (3) from LS Port (2) .
Start the engine and warm the hydraulic oil to a normal operating temperature of approximately 49 to 65°C (120 to 150°F).
Operate the quick coupler.
Record the maximum pressure obtained on tooling (A) for the "EXTEND" mode of quick coupler operation.
Turn the engine key switch to the OFF position.
Release the hydraulic pressure. Refer to the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release".
If the pressure reading is correct, proceed to Step 8. Refer to Table 1 for the pressure setting appropriate to the coupler installed. If the pressure reading is not correct, adjust the quick coupler pressure reducing valve. In order to adjust the quick coupler pressure reducing valve, perform the following procedure:
