COOLER GP-TRANSMISSION OIL 4N1559 - Caterpillar

1. Loosen the bolt and clamp (2), and remove exhaust extension (1).2. Remove two bolts (3) and the washers on each side of hood (4). 3. Install Tool (A) and a lifting sling and a hoist, and remove hood (4). The weight of the hood is 24 kg (52 lb). 4. Attach a lifting sling and a hoist to muffler (8).5. Loosen clamp (6), disconnect hose (5), and remove clamp (7). 6. Loosen bolt (10), and remove one bolt (9) and the washer, and reposition the brace.7. Remove three bolts (12) and the washers, and remove the muffler with bracket (11) attached. Remove the remaining bolts, the washers and bracket (11) from the muffler. The following steps are for the installation of the muffler. 8. Position bracket (11) to the muffler, and install the bolts, the washers.9. Install the muffler with bracket (11) attached, and install three bolts (12) and the washers.10. Position the brace and install bolt (10), and bolt (9) and the washer. Loosely install the nuts and bolts (9) holding the muffler to the bracket. 11. Connect hose (5), and install clamp (7). Tighten clamp (7) and the tighten the bolts holding the muffler to the bracket.12. Tighten clamp (7) to the torque of 14 1 N m (10 1 lb ft), tap the clamp lightly all around, and re-tighten to 14 1 N m (10 1 lb ft). 13. Install Tool (A) and a lifting sling and install hood (4). The weight of the hood is 24 kg (53 lb). 14. Install two bolts (3) and the washers on each side of hood (4).15. Position exhaust extension (1), and install the bolt and clamp (2).
