- Bores and threads of bushings should be clean, free of rust, primer, and paint.
Before assemble the cylinder, apply black 5P-0960 Grease Cartridge to the bearings.
During the machine operation, apply grease through grease fitting.
1 4 9R-4110 Bushing(1) Bore after assembly is 70.10 to 70.19 mm (2.760 to 2.763 inch)
2 1 331-1522 Bearing(1) Bore after assembly is 65.135 to 65.225 mm (2.5644 to 2.5679 inch).
3 4 7K-9208 Lip Type Seal Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Before assembly, apply green Loctite 620 to the wiper seal outside diameter.
4 4 320-3619 Piston Lubricate the bore lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
5 12 169-5792 Bolt Before installation, apply corrosion prevention oil to the surfaces.
6 4 3P-0439 O-Ring Seal Lubricate the O-ring seal and bore lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
7 4 213-5007 Bolt Torque to 230 20 N m (170 15 lb ft).
Tighten the bolts to an additional angle of 30 3 degrees.
8 1 331-1522 Bearing(1) Bore after assembly is 65.135 to 65.225 mm (2.5644 to 2.5679 inch).
(1) Press the bearing flush to surface to a maximum of 1.0 mm (0.04 inch) below flush.
