Use Tooling (A) to install roller bearing (33) to housing assembly (5). Install the roller bearing with the part number on the roller bearing away from the tooling. Install the roller bearing to a depth of 1.96 0.38 mm (.077 .015 inch) below the surface of the counterbore.

Install spring (32) and spring collar (31) to housing assembly (5) .

Install swashplate (30) to housing assembly (5) .

Install inner race (29), needle bearing (28), O-ring seal (27) and cover (26) to housing assembly (5). Use Tooling (B) to install pin retainer (25) to housing assembly (5). Repeat the procedure for the other side of the housing assembly.

Install thrust bearing (25) and two thrust bearing races (24) to shaft (20). Use Tooling (C) to install retaining ring (23) to shaft (20) .

Install shaft (20) to housing assembly (5). Use a piece of pipe to install washer (22) and seal (21) to shaft (20). Install the seal with the lip of the seal toward the washer. Install the seal until the seal is seated in the housing assembly. The pipe has an outside diameter of 41.35 0.10 mm (1.63 .004 inch) and the pipe has an inside diameter of 25.4 mm (1.00 inch). The length of the pipe is 127 mm (5 inch).

Use Tooling (C) to install retaining ring (19) to housing assembly (5) .

Install pistons (16) into retraction plate (17). Install pistons (16) and install retraction plate (17) into barrel (12). Make sure that pistons (16) are assembled into the original bore. Install spherical washer (18) .
Install pins (15) and install retainer (14) into barrel (12). Install two washers (11) and install spring (13) into barrel (12). Install retaining ring (10) .Note: Washer (11) must be installed with the square corner and flat side toward retaining ring (10) .

Install rotating group (9) to housing assembly (5) .

Install pin (8) to plate assembly (3). Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the pin before installation. Tighten the pin to a torque of 9.5 1.5 N m (84.00 13.00 lb in). Use Tooling (A) to install roller bearing (7) to plate assembly (3). Install the roller bearing with the part number on the roller bearing away from the tooling. Install the roller bearing to a depth of 0.8 0.4 mm (.03 .02 inch) below the surface of the plate assembly.

Install piston (6) to plate assembly (3) .

Install the gasket and plate assembly (3) to housing assembly (5). Install four bolts (4) in order to secure the plate assembly to the housing assembly. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 38 4 N m (28 3 lb ft). Install the gasket and pressure compensator valve (2) to plate assembly (3). Install four bolts (1) in order to secure the pressure compensator valve to the plate assembly. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 23 2 N m (17 1 lb ft).End
