Protect outside diameter of four cartridge ends from paints. Contact surfaces of shoe links must be free of paints.
1 - - Use the following procedure to tighten the track bolts:
1. Tighten the track bolts to 500 25 N m (369 18 lb ft).
2. Tighten the track bolts to an additional 120 5 degrees.
- - Use the following procedure in order to tighten the clamp master track bolts:
- - Open window Torque to 400 25 N m (295 18 lb ft).
- - Torque to an additional turn to 360 5 degrees.
- - Center strut Torque to 500 25 N m (369 18 lb ft).
- - Torque to an additional turn to 180 5 degrees.
- - Install the nuts so that the radii on the corner of the nut are against the link.
C - - Height of new track link is 134 mm (5.3 inch).
D - - The distance between the center of two pins is 202.81 mm (7.985 inch).
