(1) Current fluid sampling valve without a notch cutThe current fluid sampling valves (part numbers 8C-3446, 164-5590 (includes part nos. 8C-3446 and 3J-7354), 7X-3387, 8C-3345, 159-8336) may leak. An improved design has been released. The part numbers for these fluid sampling valves remains the same, but change levels have been changed.

(2) New design fluid sampling valve with a notch cutThe newly designed fluid sampling valve may be used to replace the fluid sampling valve that has developed a leak. The differentiation is indicated by a notch in the hex. Refer to Illustration 1 for the current design and to Illustration 2 for the new design.
