Remove lockwire (4) from the electrical connection of wire harness (5).
Use Tool (A) (not shown) in order to disconnect wire harness (5) at the electrical connection.

Disconnect wire harness (5) at the three electrical connections.
Remove bolt (8) and clip (6). Position wire harness (5) out of the way.

Remove two bolts (11) and the washers. Remove two bolts (10) and the washers in order to remove guard assembly (9).

Remove ten nuts (12) in order to remove cover (14) and the gasket from cover (13).

Remove O-ring seal (20) from manifold assembly (16).
Remove retaining ring (21) in order to remove coupling assembly (19) from manifold assembly (16).

Install Tool (B) onto control valve (27). Attach Tool (B) to a suitable lifting device and a hoist. Remove control valve (27) and the O-ring seals from the transmission case. The weight of control valve (27) is 64 kg (141 lb).
