CORE AS-HYDRAULIC OIL COOLER 1488978 - Caterpillar

Locate the connector plug for the platform harness. The connector plug is mounted under the access hole on the left side wall of the engine compartment. See Illustration 21.
Cut the cable strap that secures the cap to the link clip. Remove the cap from the connector plug. Connect the 3E-3388 Receptacle As (3) for harness (12) with the connector plug on the platform harness.
Secure receptacle assembly (3) to the link clip with a cable strap (1) .
Disengage the loader lift arm brace and lower the lift arms.Refer to "Loader Lift Arm Brace Operation - Disengage" in the Operation and Maintenance Manual for your machine.
Turn off the machine.
Disconnect the battery from the electrical system.

The fuse panel is located on the rear wall of the cab.
Remove the cover from the fuse panel. Refer to Illustration 22.
Raise the cab.Refer to "Raising the Cab" in the Operation and Maintenance Manual for your machine.

Connector plug C-C7 is located on the back of the fuse panel.
Remove the cover from the back of the fuse panel in order to expose connector plug C-C7. Remove the receptacle cap. Refer to Illustration 23.
Install the 105-3542 Diode Gp (5) into connector plug C-C7.
Reinstall the cover on the back of the fuse panel.
Lower the cab.Reference: Refer to "Lowering the Cab" in the Operation and Maintenance Manual for your machine.

The fuse panel (6) 113-8491 Fuse (8) 146-4323 Relay Assembly
Install two 113-8491 Fuses (6) and install two 146-4323 Relay Assemblies (8) in the positions that are indicated in Illustration 24.
Reinstall the cover to the fuse panel.

The empty position on the left hand control panel for installing the rocker switch
On the left hand control panel, remove the plug from the empty position in the control panel. Refer to Illustration 25.

Install the 142-8633 Rocker Switch (7) by inserting the rocker switch into the connector that is provided inside the control panel. See Illustration 26.Note: Be sure to install the 111-7899 Gasket that is provided with rocker switch (7) .

Replace the control handle for the left side joystick with the new 204-1396 Control Handle Gp (13). See Illustration 27.
