Lint may be deposited on the parts which may damage the parts. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

Install O-ring seals (26) and (27). Install springs (29) and spool (28). Install four plug assemblies (30) to cover assemblies (24).

Install cover assemblies (24) and bolts (25). Tighten bolts (25) to a torque of 125 20 N m (92 14 lb ft).

Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of plug assembly (23). Install spool (21), spring (22), plug assembly (23), and O-ring seals (20) to pilot control valve (19). Tighten plug assembly (23) to a torque of 190 10 N m (140 7 lb ft).

Install pilot control valve (18) and bolts (19). Tighten bolts (19) to a torque of 84 4 N m (62 3 lb ft). Install O-ring seals (17).

Install O-ring seal (13), O-ring seal (14), seal ring (15), and spool (16) to the valve assembly (12).

Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of valve assembly (12). Install valve assembly (12) to main control valve (1).Tighten valve assembly (12) to a torque of 100 5 N m (734 4 lb ft).

Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of valve assembly (7). Install O-ring seal (6), shims (5), spring (4), and retainer (3) to valve assembly (7). Install valve assembly (7) to main control valve (1). Tighten valve assembly (7) to a torque of 230 10 N m (170 7. lb ft).

Install main control valve (1) and bolts (2) that are not shown. Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 43 2 N m (32 1 lb ft).End by:a. Install the speed control valve.
