This diagnostic code is recorded when the ECM reads a message from the radar stating that the internal CAN resistance is incorrect. This message is only produced at startup.The possible causes of this diagnostic code are listed:
Incorrect internal resistance of the radar component CAN circuit.
Incorrect firmware installed on the radar component.Test Step 1. Verify the Code
Ensure that the component is connected to the system and no other codes are active. If additional codes are present resolve prior to troubleshooting this code.
Turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the ON position.
View the status of the diagnostic code. Results:
YES - The diagnostic code remains active.Repair: Replace the component. Internal radar component failures are not serviced.STOP
NO - The diagnostic code is NOT active. Connection or initialization issue generated the fault and was resolved by restarting the system.STOP
