PROBLEM
Certain Transmission Controls need to be removed from dealer parts stock. All 201-0211 and 206-7433 Transmission Controls with date codes prior to 21 August, 2006 need to be removed from Dealer Parts Stock.
ACTION REQUIRED
Remove all 201-0211 and 206-7433 with date codes prior to 21 August, 2006 from Dealer Parts Stock.
SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
Submit one claim for all parts removed from dealer parts stock.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
The date is coded using the NUMERAL KOD system and should be on the bottom of the Shifter. See Image 1.1.1
Numbers are represented by letters
N = 0
U = 1
M = 2
E = 3
R = 4
A = 5
L = 6
K = 7
O = 8
D = 9
Format is six continuous letters, see Image 1.1.2
Example: MNNUNA
First two letters, MN = the day of the month
Second two letters, NU = the number of the month
Third two letters, NA = the last two digits of the year
So the example MN/NU/NA represents, 20/01/05, or 20 January, 2005
