Illustration 1. Location of additional guards for headlights.Adaptable To: The bar-type guards can be installed on earlier D6H Tractors equipped with headlights. Either the existing guards around the lights can be modified to accept the bar-type guards, or new guards can be ordered which will accept the bar-type guards with no modifications. If the existing guards are to be replaced, the following parts are needed: 1-3W4714 Guard As.1-3W4717 Guard As.2-5G8531 Guard As. (Bar-type)8-5S7379 Bolt8-5P1075 Washer
If the existing guards are to be modified, the following parts are needed: 2-Reinforcement Plate (See Illustration 2)2-5G8531 Guard As. (Bar-type)8-1F750 Nut8-5S7379 Bolt8-5P1075 Washer
Make the two reinforcement plates as shown in Illustration 2. Use low carbon steel plate, 5 mm (.20") thick.

3. Drill four holes in each guard and weld the nut inside each guard at each hole.
