New seal design used in the water pump on the 3300 Family of engines.Adaptable To: The new 8C5210 Seal can be used as a direct replacement for the former 8T5919 Seal Group which is still serviced for other applications. Part number of the 2W8002 Water Pump Group did not change. When the new seal is installed, do the following:
1. Install the seal DRY, and do NOT put oil on the shaft.2. Put the lip toward the pump drive gear so the grooves will direct the oil toward the engine.3. Replace the 4N5834 Filter in the weep hole every time a new seal is installed.
