If oil pressure does not raise within 15 seconds after the engine starts, stop the engine and make necessary repairs.

Thereafter, make these observations and recordings at least daily.1. Operate the engine at low idle until all systems stabilize. Check all gauges during the warm-up period. 2. Measure the crankcase oil level with the dipstick (1).The correct oil level is shown by the marks between the words ADD and FULL on the dipstick. Keep the oil level between these marks. Never use the words themselves to measure the oil level. 3. Remove the oil fill cap (2) to add oil if necessary. After starting, operate the engine at low idle speed until the engine is at operating temperature. Check and add coolant if necessary.
