Information:
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system.2. Remove fumes disposal breather tube (2).3. Loosen the clamps that hold elbow (1) to the radiator hose connection. Remove the bolts that hold elbow (1) to the cylinder head and remove elbow (1) from the engine.4. Remove the water temperature regulator from the cylinder head.Install Water Temperature Regulator
1. Install water temperature regulator (1) in the cylinder head with the spring toward the inside as shown.
If the water temperature regulator is installed wrong, it will cause the engine to overheat.
2. Inspect the gasket for elbow (2) and make a replacement if necessary.3. Put elbow (2) in position and install the bolts to hold it. Connect the hose from the radiator top tank elbow to elbow (2) and tighten the clamps.4. Install the fumes disposal breather tube.5. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level.
1. Install water temperature regulator (1) in the cylinder head with the spring toward the inside as shown.
If the water temperature regulator is installed wrong, it will cause the engine to overheat.
