This test will check the drift rate of the lift cylinder. The drift rates will change according to many conditions (hydraulic oil temperature, type of work tool, or load on the work tool).Test Procedure
Check The Lift Cylinder Drift
Park the machine on a smooth, level surface. Ensure that the work tool is not loaded by material.
Move the transmission direction control switch to the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake.
Place the steering frame lock in the LOCKED position.
Start the engine. Warm the hydraulic oil to normal operating temperature of approximately 54 to 70°C (129 to 158°F).
Fully lift the front axle off the ground with the blade.
Make an identification mark 50 mm (2 inch) away from the rod end cover plate on the lift cylinder.
